Work for Change
J’s Place Recovery Center works to promote awareness and improvement of recovery support in northeast Georgia. Reach out to the J’s Place team to learn how you can help them in their work to destigmatize substance use disorder and work for innovative ways to promote a healthier, drug-free Hall County.
SUPPORT EMPLOYER PREVENTION EFFORTS
The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce is an active member of the Partnership for a Drug Free Hall. Their Drugs Don’t Work program is part of the statewide chamber effort in Georgia to assist businesses in the development of comprehensive drug- free workplace programs, to supply free and discounted drug-free workplace services, and to educate working parents on how to talk to their children about drugs. If you are an employer, you can help advocate for change in how substance use disorder (SUD) is perceived in our community, help keep your employees safe, lower your workers compensation insurance costs and provide incentives for helping those with SUD progress in their recovery by becoming a Drug Free Workplace. To learn more, contact the Chamber.
DONATE TO THE PARTNERSHIP
